‘CWM Caribbean Regional Assembly – Human Trafficking Unmasked’

CWM Caribbean gathered for Regional Mission Council, and Annual Roundtable on March 12 and this year for a Regional Assembly March 13-16 in Kingston, Jamaica as hosts of the United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands (UCJCI). Our goal during this special week was to mutually challenge, encourage and equip each other to share in God’s mission as we explore the issue of Human Trafficking. This focus arises out of Council for World Mission’s global theme: Mission in the Context of Empire.

CWM Caribbean is a regional body of Council for World Mission. Member churches in the Caribbean region – The United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands (UCJCI) and the Guyana Congregational Union (GCU) – along with an ecumenical partner representing the Caribbean and North America Council for Mission (CANACOM) met for three significant activities.
